PRP Treatment

Plasma skin rejuvenation is a non-surgical technique that utilises the liquid component of your blood, known as plasma, to promote skin regeneration. Through a process called centrifugation, the plasma is extracted from your blood and then injected into your skin to encourage the growth of new cells. Before the Treatment

Prior to any skin treatment at COCO Skin Clinic you will receive a thorough consultation with our Medical Professional to determine if this is the right treatment for you. During this consultation, you will be able to ask questions and have any concerns addressed.

During the Treatment

Dr. Jane will start the treatment by drawing the necessary amount of blood vials from you, which will then be processed to extract the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) through a spinning process. The extracted PRP will then be injected into the desired area/s. The procedure is generally fast and patients usually find it comfortable, with minimal to no discomfort.

After the Treatment

Immediately after treatment you will see small lumps from the injection site, these disappear as the PRP integrates into the skin over the next couple days post treatment.

You can expect to see redness, swelling and tenderness in the treated area.This typically resolves after 2-3 days. PRP injected around the eyes can result in significant swelling which is normal and will go down over the following 2-3 days post.

Number of Treatments
