Over time, your skin can lose its youthful glow due to sun exposure and your body’s natural ageing process. As a result, your body may develop sun spots, fine lines, and lose that natural healthy glow. Previous lasers couldn’t effectively remove this damage, because the treatment was either too shallow or too deep. Halo Laser is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser. It’s 2 lasers in one – this advanced technology allows for the results of an ablative laser to be combined with the shorter healing time of fractionated non-ablative laser treatment. It eliminates years of damage by precisely targeting the right depth. Halo restores the luminous glow you had when you were younger.
Get that Glow with Halo:
- Customisable treatment to precisely target skin damage
- Improvement in the appearance of tone, texture, fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduces pore size and increases reflectivity and glow
- Flexibility in treatment levels and downtime
Halo combines deep dermal rejuvenation with epidermal renewal for a combined synergistic effect you can’t get with any other treatment. Halo laser is a complete skin rejuvenation treatment. You will see improvements in overall tone and texture in addition to significant removal of discoloration, reduction in fine lines, reduced pore size, skin reflectivity and glow.
Halo precisely targets years of damage to your skin, including:
- Discoloration
- Sun damage
- Visible signs of aging
- Uneven skin tone
- Enlarged pores
- Poor texture
- Fine lines
- Scar revision
Before the Treatment
Prior to any skin treatment at COCO Skin Clinic you will receive a thorough consultation with our Medical Professional to determine if this is the right treatment for you. During this consultation, you will be able to ask questions and have any concerns addressed.
During the Treatment
Topical numbing anaesthetic cream will be applied to the treatment area before your treatment begins to ensure minimal discomfort. The treatment area will be measured with motion tracking technology to ensure the area is treated evenly. We will treat each measured section by uniformly rolling the Halo laser handpiece over the skin until the system recognises the treatment is complete. With a topical anaesthetic and integrated cooling technology, most patients experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations but are generally comfortable.
After the Treatment
After the treatment you will have redness over the treated area. Most patients will continue to feel warm/sunburnt for an additional 30 minutes, or a bit longer with deeper treatment levels. Post laser products will be applied and must be used at home during healing process for best results.
The Results
- Reduction of pigmentation
- The “Halo glow”
- Improved skin health
- Reverse signs of ageing
- Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
- Scar reduction
- Reduction in appearance of pore size
- Improvement in skin texture
Number of Treatments
The number of Halo Laser treatments will depend heavily on a variety of factors including your concern, skin condition and ethnicity. Often as little as just 1-2 treatments are all that is required to see significant improvement in skin quality. Your treatment provider will advise you of a suitable treatment plan during your consultation.
For Added Benefit
Pair with BBL™ – for the ultimate in skin over-haul, pair your Halo Laser treatment with BBL™ Skin Rejuvenation or BBL™ Forever Young treatment.
When to Expect Results
You will see initial results between two and five days after your Halo treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.
Longevity of Results
Our Halo results will last for years to come, but you should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using broad-spectrum SPF50+ sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Most people will elect to repeat the treatment on an annual basis. Each additional Halo Laser treatment you get will only improve the results, giving you even more youthful looking skin.
Difference between Halo and Halo PRO Laser
Halo is a non-ablative fractionated laser treatment and Halo PRO Laser is a hybrid ablative and non-ablative fractionated laser treatment. Halo PRO Laser is a more intensive treatment option. Halo generally has slightly less social downtime (3-5 days) than Halo PRO Laser (5-7 days). Halo is best suited for someone who wants minimal downtime and those who want a gentle re-surfacing of the skin. It will also be suited to those who want to maintain and improve on their previous results. Halo PRO Laser provide faster and more pronounced results. Halo is performed by our Dermal Therapist and Halo PRO Laser is performed by our Cosmetic Physician, Dr Jane.
