Dermamelan De-Pigmenting Peel
Dermamelan De-Pigmenting Peel is an intensive, one-off, medical grade depigmenting peel. Dermamelan can treat all types of pigmentation, including difficult to treat pigmentation types such as melasma.
Before the Treatment
Prior to Dermamelan treatment in Perth at COCO Skin Clinic you will receive a thorough consultation with Dr Jane Lucas or one of our Dermal Therapists to determine if this is the right treatment for you. During this consultation, you will be able to ask questions and have any concerns addressed.
During the Treatment
Dermamelan treatment involves the application of thick depigmenting mask in clinic. The peel is then removed at home 8-12 hours later, depending on your skin-type. Following the mask peel treatment, a strict home care is essential and we provide 5 full-size home care products.
After the Treatment
It is recommended to allow 2 weeks for the skin to complete the healing process after Dermamelan De-Pigmenting Peel, during this time you will experience redness, peeling and tight feeling skin. With proper use of the supplied aftercare, results of the Dermamelan De-Pigmenting treatment will continue to improve for up to 3 months. A strict homecare routine must be adhered to in order to achieve best result. At COCO Skin Clinic, we also provide 1 x complimentary Healite II LED Light Therapy in the 1st week to assist with the healing process.

Number of treatments
Usually only one treatment of Dermamelan De-Pigmenting treatment is required to achieve significant results. Maintenance program will be recommended. This treatment program is only a guide, your treatment provider will recommend the treatment plan that is right for you.

For Added Benefit
Pre-treatment peel – if your skin type is oily, you will benefit from adding on a COCO Essential Medi-facial immediately prior to application of Dermamelan. Removing the excess oils from your skin will allow for better penetration of the product.
