BBL™ Forever Bare

It is the world’s most powerful light-based system. It is capable of targeting pigmentation and ceasing the function of hair follicles. Unlike other IPL treatments, BBL™ is safe to use on darker skin tones. It is important to note that as the BBL™ targets pigment, it will not be capable of treating blonde or white hairs.

Before the Treatment

Prior to any treatment at COCO Skin Clinic you will receive a consultation with your treatment provider to determine if this is the right treatment for you. During this time, you will be able to ask questions and have any concerns addressed.

During the Treatment

The procedure has minimal discomfort. First, we must remove any trace of residue from your skin. You will be asked to wear goggles as eye protection and a test patch will be performed to determine your skins reaction. During the treatment you will experience mild “rubber band snap” sensations or warming of the skin.

After the Treatment

You are likely to leave with very mild redness (if any) that will resolve over the following few hours. This may appear as small red bumps surrounding hair follicles. Your hair will appear to grow back but will shed from the follicle. The remaining hair will grow back patchy and thinner.

Number of Treatments

The number of BBL™ treatments needed will vary between patients. Most people require 3-6 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart to achieve permanent hair reduction. We recommended to have Forever Bare BBL™ treatments every 6 weeks, as this coincides with the hair growth cycle. This treatment program is only a guide, your treatment provider will recommend the treatment plan that is right for you.
